Why I Created Wonderfulness

I’ve been a certified personal trainer and health coach since 2005, and one thing has become increasingly clear: many women over 40 are being underserved by the fitness world.

They’re often given plans built for younger bodies, coached by people who still think suffering is a personality trait, or expected to follow unrealistic schedules. They’re told to do more cardio, eat less, accept aches and exhaustion, and call it aging. If that sounds absurd, it’s because it is.

I created Wonderfulness for women who want something smarter. My approach is built around strength, consistency, and higher standards for what midlife can feel like. There's no need to chase perfection, punishment, or twenty-year-old ideals. Instead we focus on building a body and life that feels capable, energized, and resilient now—and for the future.

After 40, strength matters even more.

You need resistance training that actually challenges you, habits that fit real life, and support that helps you stay consistent. Most of all, you need a better story than decline.

I’ve coached through changing trends, fitness fads, and decades of unnecessary nonsense. What lasts is surprisingly simple: progressive resistance training, consistency, and doing enough of what works.

I’m based in San Francisco, where reinvention, individuality, and strong opinions are practically civic values. That spirit shows up in Wonderfulness too. We’re thoughtful, individualistic, and not especially interested in turning fitness one of our hobbies. (We just want the results, thank you.)

You don’t need to become a different person to get stronger.

You may just need a better standard, a smarter plan, and the right support.

That’s what I’m here to provide.
